Top seed Tursunov smoothly advanced into the last eight beating Brazilian Marcos Daniel 6-3, 6-3 while Dancevic put out German fifth seed Benjamin Becker 6-2, 7-5.

Tursunov and Dancevic are long-time rivals, with the Russian beating the Canadian for the Indy title two years ago as well as the grass-court Eastbourne final in June two days prior to the start of Wimbledon.

Tursunov won his 12th match at Indianapolis, where he also played the final a year ago.
